2. Nick Moore, SR, Georgia
Nick Moore was the long snapper for a very good group of special teamers at Georgia. While it isn’t always fair to evaluate long snappers based on their kickers and punters, the elite play at Georgia wouldn’t have been possible without the reliable snapping of Moore. He also possesses good size at 6’3" 244 pounds.

4. Ryan Farr, SR, Florida
Ryan Farr was once the top-ranked long snapper according to camps, and he has made very few mistakes since taking over the job at Florida. Farr helped the special teams units of the Gators be very productive. While he is incredibly unathletic, he is very accurate snapping which is the most important role.

5. Wes Farnsworth, SR, Nevada
Farnsworth was the rare long snapper who put up decent numbers at his pro day. Measuring 6’1" 232 pounds, Farnsworth ran a solid 4.79 and had an impressive 39 inch vertical. That sort of athleticism is unusual for long snappers, and when combined with his accurate snapping can create an additional weapon in punt coverage or fake punts.

Overall Opinion of the Long Snappers
It is a pretty typical year for long snappers, as no one stands out as an exceptional player. Many of these guys will get the job done, and the biggest determining factor right now has been consistency of their snaps and length of their service. Most of the guys at the top have been successful since they were freshmen. Dan Godsil is currently the cream of the crop as he got the lone combine invite for the position, and will have plenty of scouts’ eyes throughout the event.
