Complete NFL Draft Rankings Promo

1. Caleb Williams, USC

QB | 6’1″ | 214 lbs | 3rd Year

Caleb Williams is nearly a complete package. He combines a strong feel for the game with great arm talent, playmaking ability as a runner, and a confident winning mentality.

Williams took over for a struggling yet talented Spencer Rattler at Oklahoma in 2021, and immediately showed his all around talent. When he transferred to USC in 2022, he took yet another step as a passer. His anticipation and decision making continues to improve, and he has plenty of arm strength and accuracy to all three levels.

While there’s still room for him to improve, there isn’t any glaring weakness to his game, and the film speaks for itself.

Caleb Williams 2023 Stats

12 games: 3633 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, 5 interceptions, 68.6% completions, 9.4 yards per attempt, 142 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns

2. Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State

WR | 6’3″ | 209 lbs | 3rd Year

Marvin Harrison Jr is a big receiver with Hall of Fame bloodlines who is dominant at the catch point. He has the frame and athleticism to elevate over defenders or fight through the body to attack the ball in the air and secure contested catches. But he’s a lot more than just a contested catch maker, as he has a great feel for his route running, good instincts, and an overall feel for finding the best way to counter a defense. He’s solid after the catch, and has enough speed, quickness, and body control to create separation.

He’s been a part of some of the best receiver rooms in football, and still found a way to quickly become the clear WR1 for Ohio State. He dominated the best corners he faced throughout the season, and looked every part of a top 5 overall selection.

Marvin Harrison Jr. 2023 Stats

12 games: 1211 receiving yards, 14 receiving touchdowns, 18.1 yards per catch, 34.6% receiving yardage share, 26 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown

3. Drake Maye, North Carolina

QB | 6’5″ | 223 lbs | 3rd Year

Drake Maye was as dominant as you could ever expect a redshirt freshman to be when he took over as starter in 2022. A tall QB at 6’5″, Maye has a high release point and a natural throwing motion while looking the part of a traditional NFL QB.

Despite being big, he’s very mobile. He ran for more yardage in 2022 than Anthony Richardson, while also boasting a 4321/38/7 stat line which was as impressive as anyone in the nation.

The arm talent is plenty good for the NFL, and he has great poise for a young player. While North Carolina is known for having a QB-friendly system, it didn’t feel like a concern when you watched Drake Maye’s film. He consistently improvises and makes high level plays.

Drake Maye 2023 Stats

12 games: 3608 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, 9 interceptions, 63.3% completions, 8.5 yards per attempt, 449 rushing yards, 9 rushing touchdowns

4. Jayden Daniels, LSU

QB | 6’4″ | 210 lbs | 5th Year

Jayden Daniels had a meteoric rise throughout the 2023 season, and was far and away the most dominant college quarterback in 2023. Daniels was as dangerous as you’ll find as a runner this season, but combined it with great accuracy, decision making, and arm strength. His legitimate dual threat style is what every NFL team wants. He generally makes his reads in time and looked capable of playing in-structure or out of structure.

The film leads the class, but he has plenty of questions. Why did it take him until year 5 to take this leap? And will his narrow frame be able to hold up in the NFL?

Jayden Daniels 2023 Stats

12 games: 3812 passing yards, 40 passing touchdowns, 4 interceptions, 72.2% completions, 11.7 yards per attempt, 1134 rushing yards, 10 rushing touchdowns

5. Joe Alt, Notre Dame

OT | 6’9″ | 321 lbs | 3rd Year

Joe Alt is a big, athletic tackle prospect with the all the traits to excel as a left tackle in the NFL. He was the rare prospect to start as a true freshman for Notre Dame’s always talented offensive line. Alt has a good get off from the line of scrimmage with nice flexibility and knee bend, capable of getting low and generating power as a run blocker or using his size and length in the pass game. He’s an intelligent and aware blocker who identifies stunts and blitzes, while having above average technique for someone of his age.

He’ll want to continue adding a bit more strength to improve against bull rushers who get in on his frame.

Joe Alt 2023 Stats

12 games: 12 starts (all at LT), 1 sack allowed, 2 hits allowed, 2 hurries allowed, 98.6% pass block success rate

6. Malik Nabers, LSU

WR | 6’0″ | 199 lbs | 3rd Year

Malik Nabers has consistently improved throughout his LSU career, and is a dangerous threat with the ball in his hands. He gets good separation on short routes and has improved his route tree, while showing great start-and-stop ability. The body control and hands stand out on film, and he’s experienced lining up all over the field.

Nabers has explosive overall athleticism and a relatively sturdy build, with plenty of versatility to fit into a variety of systems. He’s continued to improve each year and has all the traits you look for in a WR1.

Malik Nabers 2023 Stats

13 games: 1569 receiving yards, 14 receiving touchdowns, 17.6 yards per catch, 35.6% receiving yardage share, 1 rushing yard

7. Brock Bowers, Georgia

TE | 6’3″ | 243 lbs | 3rd Year

Brock Bowers is a complete tight end prospect who has been dominant since his first day on campus. He’s a dynamic playmaker with good athletic traits, great hands, enough strength, and an elite feel for the game. He has an advanced understanding of how to get open and is incredibly smooth in the open field for a tight end. His size is nothing special at 6’4″ 240, but is plenty big to hang as a blocker given his effort and above-average technique.

There’s still room for him to continue improving his body and game, but his production and tape speak for themselves as one of the best tight end prospects of this era.

Brock Bowers 2023 Stats

10 games: 714 receiving yards, 6 receiving touchdowns, 12.8 yards per catch, 16.7% receiving yardage share, 28 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdowns

8. Rome Odunze, Washington

WR | 6’3″ | 212 lbs | 4th Year

Rome Odunze had a breakout 2022 season, and had a chance to be a top-50 pick had he entered the draft last season. He decided to return for one more year and continue to grow as a receiver. Odunze is a true outside WR prospect who constantly plays hard. He never gets tackled easily, always fighting for extra yardage. He does the little things like blocking and special teams, and is a threat on deep balls or mid level throws. He’s got a very big frame with a large catch radius, and has improved at attacking the ball in the air.

Odunze is a very solid athlete, and will solidify himself as a potential top-10 pick if he runs as fast as he expects to at the combine or his pro day.

Rome Odunze 2023 Stats

15 games: 1640 receiving yards, 13 receiving touchdowns, 17.8 yards per catch, 31.8% receiving yardage share, 37 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown

9. Olu Fashanu, Penn State

OT | 6’6″ | 312 lbs | 4th Year

Olu Fashanu was a likely 1st round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft who surprised everyone when he decided to return to school. Fashanu has great traits for the position, being a solid lateral mover with quick feet, great length, and prototypical size. Entering the 2023 season he is yet to allow a single sack, although part of that is due to inexperience. Fashanu really flashes on tape, displaying really flexible hips and knees. He does a nice job of dropping his hips into blocks and using his strong hands to latch onto defenders.

There are a lot of traits to work with, he just needs some more playing time.

Olu Fashanu 2023 Stats

12 games: 12 starts (all at LT), 0 sacks allowed, 0 hits allowed, 10 hurries allowed, 97.3% pass block success rate

10. Jared Verse, Albany

DE | 6’4″ | 254 lbs | 4th Year

Jared Verse likely would have been a 1st round pick last year, but surprisingly decided to return to Florida State for one final season. The Albany transfer had absolutely no issues moving up in competition, showcasing consistent disruption as a pass rusher and run defender. Verse has prototypical size as a 4-3 defensive end, with a well proportioned frame, good length, and a very strong burst off the line of scrimmage. He accelerates into his hits and rarely ever misses tackles, and has the bend and flexibility to consistently win around the edge.

Verse has the strength to be an absolute bully on the field, and is one of the 2-3 edge rushers in this class who are truly NFL ready.

There’s still room for him to continue improving his body and game, but his production and tape speak for themselves as one of the best tight end prospects of this era.

Jared Verse 2023 Stats

13 games: 41 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 9.0 sacks, 3 passes defender, 1 fumble forced

MORE NFL DRAFT RANKINGS

Traits That Make a Prospect Great

Depending on a prospect’s position, we evaluate a wide variety of skills and traits to project their value and future success at the next level.

Physical Traits

Physical attributes such as height, weight, arm length, and frame are among the most important traits to consider when developing NFL Draft Rankings.

Athletic Traits

Speed, quickness, strength, and burst are just a few of the athletic measurables you need to consider when rankings prospects.

Positional Skills

Each position has a unique set of skills that will help players succeed. These are coachable, but a draft prospect who is further along in his skill development is a massive advantage.

Productivity

Having size, athleticism, and flashing some skills is great, but it won’t matter if it never turns into on-field productivity. Prospects who dominated the game at the college level are more likely to succeed in the NFL.

Overall Opinion of the 2024 NFL Draft Class

The 2024 NFL Draft Class is led by some legitimate star talent. 3 great quarterbacks, 1-3 elite receivers, a superstar tight end, and 1-2 great offensive tackles. What you may notice: It’s all offense.

This year is a great time to need offensive prospects, but there isn’t nearly as much for defense. Just about every defensive position group is below average.

The depth of the class overall is fairly average.
