Most Recent NFL Mock Draft

I’ve never been the biggest fan of Mock Drafts because I like to be right, and trades don’t allow that to happen. Nevertheless, the draft is just about here and I have a responsibility to get it out. So introducing: Mock Draft 3.1.

I decided to publish my 7 round mock draft this time around. Descriptions of the picks only provided for the first round. This mock draft took me roughly 14 hours to plan out.

Remember that these are not my 2025 player rankings, this is simply what I think will happen based on what I’ve heard and my knowledge of how these teams operate.

Here is the most recent 2025 NFL mock draft (Last updated 4/19/2025):

If you have comments, send us a message.

1. Tennessee Titans

Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)

It became obvious at the NFL Combine in February that the Titans were planning to go with Cam Ward. There shouldn’t be any surprises here.

2. Cleveland Browns

Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

Cleveland loves the generational talent of Travis Hunter. How exactly they use him remains to be seen, but it’s just about a lock that they pass on QB here and go with the best player in the draft class.

3. New York Giants

Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State

A late workout with Shedeur Sanders raised some eyebrows, and likely means someone in the building is interested in him. Insiders, however, are adamant that the Giants want Carter.

4. New England Patriots

Will Campbell, OT, LSU

The first pick in the draft where there might be a surprise. The Patriots need to use this pick on a player who can give Drake Maye a fighting chance. Left tackle desperately needs an upgrade, and Will Campbell is ready to step in and contribute right away day 1.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

Mason Graham, DL, Michigan

DL is likely the biggest need for the Jaguars, and teams around the league will look to copy the Eagles by investing heavily on the defensive line. The stars align for the Jaguars to take Mason Graham, who is a consistent disruptor with a chance to outperform his college stats.

6. Las Vegas Raiders

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Ashton Jeanty is one of the best running backs we’ve seen in the last couple decades. The Raiders have a lot of needs, but running back might be the biggest of them all. They’ll be happy to grab Jeanty.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers (Mock Trade)

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

NYJ > PIT: Picks 7 and 186 for Picks 21, 83, 156, and future high round picks

The Steelers desperately need to come out of this draft with a QB, and they’re not going to wait until their pick comes around at 21. They felt like they needed to get ahead of the Saints at 9, and decide 7 is long enough to wait before making the move.

8. Carolina Panthers

Jalon Walker, LB/Edge, Georgia

The Panthers need defensive help, particularly at edge rusher. Walker can line up all over the place, and consistently showed up in the biggest moments for Georgia.

9. New Orleans Saints

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

The Saints could go a lot of directions here, but the temptation to grab the draft’s top receiver will be too strong to pass on. McMillan is a big receiver with unreal hands who can add a new element to a Saints offense that will be searching for an identity.

10. Chicago Bears

Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Ben Johnson joins the Chicago Bears, and he needs a second tight end to run all the 2 tight end formations that he prefers to run. Warren is a unique offensive weapon who can hurt you in a ton of different ways, and that will be a huge benefit to Caleb Williams.

11. San Francisco 49ers

Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M

The 49ers blew up much of their core in the past two seasons, and decide to take a chance on an extremely high risk, high reward player in Shemar Stewart. The athletic measureables are elite, but the 4.5 career college sacks are a big concern.

12. Dallas Cowboys

Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Dallas has done a lot of work on the receivers in this class, and are determined to grab one early in this draft. With Matthew Golden still available to them, Jerry Jones and the Cowboys decide they shouldn’t wait.

13. Miami Dolphins

Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

The Dolphins are in rough shape at corner, and a blue chip prospect falls to them at 13. Will Johnson has been falling on draft boards after dealing with injuries this season, but there’s a reason he was a top-10 pick until recently.

14. Indianapolis Colts

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

The tight end position is often the best friend of a struggling quarterback. The Colts don’t have a tight end. Loveland will add a dynamic element to the offense as soon as he steps on the field for the Colts.

15. Atlanta Falcons

Mike Green, Edge, Marshall

The Falcons were expected to take an edge rusher to start last year’s draft before shocking everyone by going QB. This year they can’t afford to skip on edge. Mike Green plays with elite quickness and can provide an immediate jolt to the pass rush of the Falcons.

16. Arizona Cardinals

Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia

The Cardinals make it back-to-back edge rushers. They took Darius Robinson last year who is more of a flex piece to kick inside, and adding a prototypical 4-3 defensive end like Mykel Williams across from Josh Sweat will further bolster a new-look Arizona Cardinals pass rush.

17. New York Jets (Mock Trade)

Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

CIN > NYJ: Picks 17 and 153 for Picks 21, 83, and 162

The Jets traded back earlier, and they decide to move back up too grab the player they would have taken #7. Membou will be an immediate upgrade at right tackle, and they netted some draft capital while still getting him.

18. Seattle Seahawks

Kelvin Banks, G/T, Texas

The interior of the offensive line is the main agenda for the Seahawks, who will need to protect their new QB Sam Darnold. Kelvin Banks can play multiple spots, but they draft him with the idea of starting him at left guard.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

Tampa Bay has multiple aging pieces in their front 7, and their only starting caliber inside linebacker is 35 year old Lavonte David. Campbell is a physical specimen who should be immediately ready to play.

20. Denver Broncos

Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

Denver has way less holes in their roster than you might think. Running back is one of their only needs, and Omarion Hampton is still here. In a normal draft, Hampton would be the clear cut RB1.

21. Cincinnati Bengals (Mock Trade)

Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

PIT > NYJ > CIN: Previous Mock Trade

The Bengals moved back 4 spots because they still had many interior defensive linemen available to choose from. They get the guy they wanted all along in Walter Nolen, who offers elite pass rushing potential from the interior.

22. Los Angeles Chargers

Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

Back when Coach Harbaugh was at Michigan, he raved about the freakish athleticism of Kenneth Grant. He decides he wants to coach that athleticism again, while filling a massive need that the Chargers have been trying to fill for years.

23. Green Bay Packers

Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky

The Packers cornerback room looks decent on paper, but Jaire Alexander has been causing problems in the locker room and Keisean Nixon has been inconsistent. Hairston is a feisty corner with elite athletic traits who fits the style the Packers look for.

24. Buffalo Bills (Mock Trade)

Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

MIN > BUF: Picks 24 and 97 for Picks 30, 62, and 206

The Bills have few needs, but a ton of picks. They’ll be active on draft night trying to move up to grab the D-Lineman of their choice. Derrick Harmon makes his way to 24, and that’s long enough as far as the Bills are concerned. He has the size and strength to plug holes in the run game, but plenty of pass rush to add as well.

25. Houston Texans

Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

The Texans have restructured their offensive line, and they need to do something to sure it up if they want a rebound year 3 from CJ Stroud. Simmons was the best offensive lineman in college football before an injury ended his season early. He’s fully healthy, and should be ready to step right in at either tackle position.

26. Los Angeles Rams

Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

The Rams need help at outside corner and in the slot. Barron can line up all over the place, playing with elite instincts and an all-around style of play that contributes to winning.

27. Baltimore Ravens

Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College

The Ravens want to add some more juice at the edge, and Ezeiruaku does just that. He’s a bit undersized but exceptionally quick as a pass rusher. He could provide the impact pass rush that Baltimore needs to take that next step.

28. Detroit Lions

Grey Zabel, G/C, North Dakota State

The Lions offensive line was the strength of their team early in the season, but they struggled particularly at the guard positions down the stretch. The Lions view Zabel as a 5-position lineman who can slot in immediately at left or right guard.

north dakota state

29. Washington Commanders

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

Washington only really had 1 receiver last year, and giving Jayden Daniels more options will be key to his development. Egbuka does all the little things well. And like Terry McLaurin, he was often overshadowed at Ohio State despite having the talent of a top level NFL receiver.

30. New York Giants (Mock Trade)

Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

BUF > MIN > NYG: Pick 30 for Picks 34, 154, 246

The Giants passed on a QB earlier, so they move back into the 1st round to secure a 5th year option on the pick. Jaxson Dart will sit behind Russell Wilson to open the season while adjusting to the NFL, and the Giants hope he’s the franchise guy that they’ve been looking for since Eli retired. Minnesota completes their second trade back after starting the draft with the lowest draft value of any team.

31. Kansas City Chiefs

Tyler Booker, G, Alabama

The Chiefs needed o-line last year, and they need it again. There’s a few options here, but Tyler Booker should be an immediate upgrade over Mike Caliendo at the left guard spot.

32. Cleveland Browns (Mock Trade)

Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

PHI > CLE: Pick 32 for Picks 33, 192

Cleveland follows the same strategy as the Giants, trading up 1 spot to secure a 5th year option on Jalen Milroe. Milroe has elite physical tools including a rocket arm, he just need to be way better reading defenses. He’ll sit for a year or two before taking over.
