Complete 7 Round Mock Draft – February 2026

The NFL Draft is still a couple months away, but we’re firmly in mock draft season!

Now that the BNB Football prospect database is nearing 2000 draft eligible players, I’m ready to put together my first 7 round mock draft.

There are a few things to know before we dive into it.

First things first, if you’re reading this in April you’ll probably be very upset about the players your team picks in this mock. That’s because two things are going to change a lot between now and the end of April: Prospect rankings and team needs.

Rankings will continue to fluctuate in the aftermath of the NFL Combine as well as Pro Day season. Team needs will also change a ton after free agency, dramatically affecting how each team approaches the draft.

Even the NFL draft order could change a little bit once the NFL releases the compensatory draft picks for each team. As of right now, we’re using an estimate of how compensatory picks will be awarded.

Finally, this is a No Trades Mock Draft. Future mocks will include trades, but pre-combine a 7 round mock with trades is just too messy.

Use the jumplinks below to find the section you’re most interested in.

1st Round | Full 7 Rounds | Picks by Team | By The Numbers | Notable Undrafted Players

1st Round Mock Explanations

1. Las Vegas Raiders: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

It’s no secret that the Raiders are in desperate need for a quarterback, and there’s only 1 quarterback with a legitimate claim to being the #1 overall pick. A no brainer suggestion for the Raiders, who bring in Fernando Mendoza fresh off his unlikely National Championship run with the Hoosiers.

2. New York Jets: Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami (FL)

The Jets would’ve loved to find a quarterback with this pick, but unfortunately there are just aren’t any worth taking here. The Jets have plenty of needs, however, including a defensive unit that allowed the 2nd most points in the entire NFL last year. They decide to select the most disruptive defensive player in the draft, Rueben Bain of Miami to bolster one of the worst pass rush groups in the league.

3. Arizona Cardinals: Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami (FL)

Any Cardinals fan would tell you that offensive line has to be their priority in the 2026 NFL Draft. Right tackle is especially a position of need with Jonah Williams hitting free agency and generally not playing well in his two years with the Cards. Mauigoa is an absolute mauler with the size, athleticism, and physicality to dominate the NFL for over a decade.

4. Tennessee Titans: Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

The Tennessee Titans have a ton of needs, but they can’t afford to skip on a top receiver in the 1st round. Cam Ward had arguably the worst receiving corps in the NFL last year, despite an impressive rookie campaign from Chimere Dike. Tennessee adds Carnell Tate who has the elite traits, body control, and hands that you expect from a dominant NFL receiver.

5. New York Giants: Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State

Giants fans will also be clambering for a wide receiver, but new coach John Harbaugh can’t resist the opportunity to add a culture-changing defensive player to a unit that was bottom-10 in the NFL last year in points allowed. Downs is an elite all-around player who has looked the part of a future NFL starter ever since his true freshman season, and has the ability to completely change a defense by himself.

6. Cleveland Browns: Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

The Browns biggest need on the offensive line is at left tackle, but they instead grab an elite right tackle in Spencer Fano. Currently manned by the often-injured Jack Conklin, Cleveland is more worried about getting some difference-makers on the o-line than they are about exact positional fit as they try to build up a supporting cast around the young QB they’ll likely select in 2027.

7. Washington Commanders: David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech

The Commanders don’t have many draft picks this year, so they need to get this one right. They decide to go with one of the safest players in the draft in David Bailey, who will contribute from day 1 as an athletic pass rusher and willing run stopper. Washington’s only real pass rusher last year was soon-to-be 37 year old free agent Von Miller, and they really need some youth infused into their pass rush.

8. New Orleans Saints: Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

The Saints were happy with what they saw out of rookie QB Tyler Shough last year, and now it’s time to give him everything possible to succeed. With Chris Olave being the only legitimate WR on the roster, they decide to bring in a guy they are very high on internally. Tyson has elite body control and fluidity as a route runner, offering a lot of similarities to Olave’s game and providing a high level second option to the offense.

9. Kansas City Chiefs: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

The Chiefs have had mediocre running back play for quite a few years now. With the Saints passing on RB for a WR, the Chiefs decide not to do the same and take the unanimous top RB in Jeremiyah Love. Love will add the dynamic element that the Chiefs have been searching for, and should immediately upgrade a run game that ranked in the bottom half of the league the past 4 seasons.

10. Cincinnati Bengals: Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State

The Bengals have had a bad defense for a long time, and can upgrade at pretty much every spot manned by someone not named Trey Hendrickson. They are hoping to go with the best defensive player available at pick 10, and lucky for them Arvell Reese has fallen to this point. The hybrid linebacker-edge rusher will provide big time versatility and burst to a team that desperately needs it.

11. Miami Dolphins: Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

The Dolphins ran out a patch work group of corners in 2025 led by aging veterans on 1 year deals, making the depth chart look particularly weak heading into next season. The Dolphins grab the top corner in the draft who has the size and athleticism to play a similar role to Rasul Douglas this past season, but with much fresher legs.

12. Dallas Cowboys: Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

Linebacker was a major weakness for the Cowboys this past season, who allowed more points than any other team in the NFL in 2025. There are some pieces in place on the DL, and the DBs can step it up if they’re able to get healthy, but improving at the middle is non-negotiable. Sonny Styles is as consistent of a tackler as they come, with great athleticism and solid coverage instincts having started his career as a safety.

13. Los Angeles Rams: Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia

The Rams want more help along the offensive line, especially at the right tackle spot. Monroe Freeling played both sides in college, and promise me when I tell you that he’s going to be drafted higher than people are currently saying. Freeling is a perfect fit for the Rams offensive scheme, and has plenty of traits to continue developing at the next level.

14. Baltimore Ravens: Olaivavega Ioane, G, Penn State

It feels like Ravens fans have been yelling for interior OL help for several years now, and this year the team can’t afford to pass on it. Both guards struggled last year, and 2 starters on the interior are pending free agents. Pick 14 is a bit early to draft an exclusively-interior offensive lineman, but Ioane is a legitimate 1st round talent who should be able to dominate from Day 1 at either guard spot.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami (FL)

Tampa Bay is deep at most positions teams covet, including OL, DL, and WR. But they can’t say the same about their group of edge rushers. Yaya Diaby was the only Buccaneer with over 5 sacks this past year, and grabbing an instant-impact player is on the top of their radar. Mesidor might be an older prospect, but he should still have plenty of dominant years while also providing a quality pass rush day 1.

16. New York Jets: Makai Lemon, WR, USC

After addressing edge rusher at #2 overall, the Jets have to decide between grabbing a corner who is capable of intercepting a single pass, or adding a receiver to a room that doesn’t currently have a WR2 or WR3. In preparation for their future QB they decide to add that WR now, with Makai Lemon falling to them. Garrett Wilson and Makai Lemon will form a legitimate 1-2 punch to help elevate their 2026 bridge quarterback.

17. Detroit Lions: Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama

The Lions have really good depth at just about every position, but the offensive line took a big step back this past season. With Taylor Decker getting older, the Lions decide to take a swing on a boom-or-bust talent in Kadyn Proctor who has some of the best physical traits of any player in the draft, regardless of position.

18. Minnesota Vikings: Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

Despite having one of the best pass defenses in the NFL this past season, Minnesota has a very old defensive backfield and minimal talent. Avieon Terrell’s quick feet and tight coverage skills will upgrade the position from day 1, while also allowing Minnesota to move Byron Murphy back to the versatile role he played in 2024 when he had a much better season.

19. Carolina Panthers: Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn

The Carolina Panthers took a big step forward this past season, but they still have an obvious need at edge rusher after finishing last year near the bottom of the league in sacks and rushing yards allowed. Keldric Faulk probably won’t put up a ton of sacks early in his career, but he’ll be a dominant run stopper from day 1 with the tools to become a well-rounded player.

20. Dallas Cowboys: Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

Trevon Diggs is gone, Daron Bland is coming off an injury, and the young corners just didn’t cut it last year for the Cowboys. Dallas takes a swing on another injured corner, selecting Jermod McCoy from Tennessee who had a chance to be a top-10 pick had he not missed this past season with injury. If he comes back looking like he did in 2024, the Cowboys will have fixed their CB room pretty quickly.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers: KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

The Steelers only have one legitimate WR on their entire roster, that being DK Metcalf. Whoever is throwing passes for the Steelers will need a shifty receiver to compliment him, and KC Concepcion can be exactly that. After starring as a gadget receiver as a true freshman, Concepcion blossomed into one of the most dominant receivers in college football. He would add a new dynamic to a Steelers offense who will be undergoing an identity change this season.

22. Los Angeles Chargers: Kayden McDonald, DT, Ohio State

Chargers fans wanting a dominant defensive tackle in the draft is something we hear every year, and this time it’s probably happening. Both interior defensive linemen projected to go in the 1st round are on the board, and the Chargers grab Kayden McDonald who offers size, strength, and a very high motor to a defense that has turned things around in recent years.

23. Philadelphia Eagles: Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

The Eagles love to draft in the trenches early, and Caleb Lomu feels like a Philadelphia Eagle as a twitchy athlete who is a bit of a late bloomer coming into his body. While he primarily plays on the left side, he’s played on the right side before and has plenty of potential to be molded into the future Lane Johnson replacement.

24. Cleveland Browns: Denzel Boston, WR, Washington

The Browns entire strategy in the 2026 NFL Draft is to prepare themselves for their quarterback in 2027. After going o-line early, they want to add a receiver to a group that’s lacking an identity. Denzel Boston looks the part of a true NFL X receiver, with great hands, size, and a good overall athletic profile. He’ll be a day 1 starter in Cleveland.

25. Chicago Bears: Peter Woods, DT, Clemson

I’m not as convinced as some others are that DT is a position of need for the Bears, but Peter Woods is a good enough prospect that he could potentially be an upgrade over an aging Grady Jarrett or Gervon Dexter. Woods entered the season as a potential top-5 pick, but fell after a disappointing season at Clemson where he was constantly doubled.

26. Buffalo Bills: Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana

The Bills have been on the hunt for an alpha receiver since Stefon Diggs demanded out, and Omar Cooper has a chance to be that. He’s one of the safest picks in the draft due to his great hands, body control, and ability to break tackles, but he also has a complete game that could help him develop into a legitimate WR1 for Josh Allen and the Bills.

27. San Francisco 49ers: Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

The NFL is trending more and more towards 2 tight end sets, and the 49ers have never really bothered to invest in a legitimate receiving tight end alongside George Kittle. They decide now’s the time when Kenyon Sadiq falls in their lap, offering the closest thing we’ve seen to Vernon Davis since Vernon Davis himself.

28. Houston Texans: Caleb Banks, DT, Florida

DL isn’t the flashiest need for Houston, but the options at offensive line and running back are slim here. With Sheldon Rankins hitting free agency and Tommy Togiai entering the final year of his deal, they opt to bet on the high ceiling of Caleb Banks. Banks will provide some legitimate burst for someone his size, and can rotate into the DL this year while he works on his consistency and pass rush technique.

29. Los Angeles Rams: Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina

The CB room looks rough for the Rams, led by a host of corners struggling to stand out. With all the talent they have in the safety room, one more corner could turn them into one of the best pass defenses in the NFL. Brandon Cisse is a young, athletic talent who is sticky in coverage and provides a lot more impact than the numbers indicate.

30. Denver Broncos: CJ Allen, LB, Georgia

An injured Dre Greenlaw and a 32-year-old Alex Singleton just didn’t provide enough spark at the linebacker position last year for an otherwise impressive Broncos team. CJ Allen provides youth and athleticism to the group, playing an aggressive style of football that will impact games early in his career.

31. New England Patriots: Cashius Howell, EDGE, Texas A&M

K’Lavon Chaisson had a solid year for New England, but he’s a pending free agent and there’s little depth behind him to step in alongside Harold Landry. Adding some additional pass rush is going to be one of the main priorities for the Patriots, and Howell is a pass rush specialist with a lot of quick twitch.

32. Seattle Seahawks: Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, S, Toledo

The Seahawks don’t have many needs, but upgrading on Coby Bryant who is about to hit free agency is one of them. After hitting a home run by selecting Nick Emmanwori last year, Seattle goes safety once again, adding another big and versatile defensive back to a secondary with plenty of versatility already. McNeil-Warren should compliment their existing pieces well and help maintain Seattle’s new reputation as an elite defense.

Results By Position

Going through a 7 round mock draft is always a good opportunity to learn how strong each position group is. Below is the number of players drafted in this mock draft by position group:

QB: 11
WR: 33
RB: 17
FB: 1
TE: 20
OT: 21
G: 17
C: 9
DT: 25
EDGE: 31
LB: 20
S: 20
CB: 29
K: 2
P: 1
LS: 0

Running back is notably a weak position this year. 17 would be the least drafted in a single year since before I started doing my spreadsheets, which was in 2012.

There were also a few less cornerbacks than normal, but not to the extent of the running back group.

Despite being nothing special at the top, tight end was a particularly strong group. This is partially due to some strong day 3 depth, but also because a lot of teams are going to copy the Seahawks multi tight end strategy and try to roster at least 4 tight ends next season.
