Fastest Edge Rushers in the 2022 NFL Draft

Who is the fastest edge rusher in the 2022 NFL Draft?

While the edge rusher class is extremely fast this year, no one was faster than Amare Barno, who ran a 4.36 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine.

Along with combine data, we’ve collected data from all pro days in the 2022 cycle.

We now have verified 40 yard dash times from 170 edge rushers in the 2022 class, including athletes from every level of college football.

As with every other position, a few notable edge rushers didn’t run a 40 yard dash at either the combine or their pro day. These players will not be considered in this article, most notably Cameron Thomas and Drake Jackson.

The fastest verified times are:

The further to the top left, the better. As is indicated by the green and red shading. As weight goes up, you tend to see slower 40 times. Travon Walker especially stands out, while Sam Williams, Amare Barno, and Boye Mafe are also particularly impressive.
